About You:
The Hart School is searching for a Teacher of Science to spark the inquisitive minds of our students and generate a curiosity to discover the sciences. As a Teacher of Science you will be someone who believes that science should be exciting, relevant, and accessible to all students. Bringing energy and creativity to the classroom, using your subject knowledge to make lessons engaging and meaningful. You thrive in a collaborative environment, value professional growth, and are always looking for ways to improve your practice. With a strong sense of purpose and a student-centred approach, you’re ready to make a real impact—supporting learners not just to succeed academically, but to develop confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of science.
Our ideal candidate would:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status with a degree in a related discipline
- Have experience of teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4
- Have a genuine passion for and a belief in the potential of every student
- Have the ability to think strategically about classroom practice and tailoring lessons to students needs
- Set high expectations and be a positive role model – consistently demonstrating the positive attitudes, values and behaviours which we expect of pupils.
