Dudley Academies Trust is looking to appoint a Teacher of Science at The Link Academy.
Dudley Academies Trust was formed in September 2017 under the sponsorship of Dudley College of Technology. Our Trust schools are St James Academy, The Link Academy, Pegasus Academy, Beacon Hill Academy and Blowers Green Primary. The Trust when combined with the sponsor, annually supports 8,500 young people aged 4 to 19 years old and employs almost 1,300 staff.
Our Values Driven Expectations behaviour management model ensures that all learners are well focussed and that there is no low-level disruption in lessons; this allows you to concentrate on leading high quality teaching to inspire your learners. Cutting edge data management processes also mean that key data is provided from the centre for you, freeing up your time to act on key information to accelerate learners’ progress.

A common and extensive programme of staff development operates across the Trust, this is extended to senior and middle leaders, aspiring leaders, teaching and support staff and non-qualified teachers.

The Link Academy is in Netherton, Dudley, West Midlands and draws pupils from across central and eastern Dudley as well as neighbouring Sandwell. The Link benefits from having had a partial rebuild that created a three-floor teaching block together with a large school hall and refectory. In addition, the Trust has carried out extensive electrical, roofing and window replacement works. The Link has a strong arts and performing arts culture, with good facilities for art, drama, dance and music. There is a sports centre co-located with the academy, in-door courts, dry-play pitches and large playing fields. The Link is proud to offer an extensive enrichment programme including a range of school shows and international trips.
