Are you passionate about science and eager to inspire the next generation of scientists? St Mary's Catholic School is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our dynamic team. St Mary's is a thriving secondary school located in Bishop’s Stortford, on the Hertfordshire/Essex borders, with easy access to London and surrounding areas. We have a diverse community of 1153 pupils and have a record of success in science up to and including A Level.
Suitable for an experienced teacher or an ECT, a TLR opportunity may be available for the right candidate. We are particularly interested to hear from those applicants whose have a specialism in physics but would welcome applications from across the science faculty.
If you are new to your teaching journey we have a strong record of supporting ECT’s across the subject ranges and have an active ECT cohort and support program, together with an active staff wellbeing program and free to access Employee Assistance benefits.
