What skills and experience we're looking for

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

Carrying out the functions of a teacher in accordance with the Teacher Standards and the stated aims and objectives of The Stanway School and the Department.

Contributing to the planning and delivery of the KS4 curriculum for Combined and Triple options, including the monitoring of assessment data and KS4 outcomes (The full details can be found in the attached Job Outline and Person Specification).

We're looking for you if you have:

Qualified Teacher Status

A degree in the specialist subject

The ability to teach “outstanding” lessons

Experience of supporting staff and students in maintaining high standards

The Role

We are seeking to appoint a qualified, enthusiastic and organised Teacher of Scienceto join a dynamic, supportive and successful team and to further develop the deliveryof the Science curriculum - Combined and Triple - at The Stanway School. Thesuccessful candidate will receive a TLR2c for the responsibility of KS4 curriculum and outcomes, working alongside the Head of department.

At Stanway, we offer both Combined Science and Triple Science during KS4. The dedicated Science Department at Stanway boasts modern Science labs (including 3 that were built just 7 years ago), a supportive staffroom, and easy access to senior leadership, ensuring you have all the tools, guidance and support you need to excel in your career.
