Celebrating outstanding summer results yet again with positive progress 8 and a great performance with grades 7-9 an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, motivated and committed individual to join the college’s dynamic Science department.

Science is absolutely essential to this aim and as such we wish to appoint a qualified Science teacher who will inspire, motivate and engage our young people.
The successful candidate will be a Science specialist with a specialism of physics, chemistry or biology and a passion for the subject and an eagerness to inspire our students to reach their full potential. You will have the ability to consistently deliver captivating and inspiring lessons, engaging students through an outstanding, rewarding learning experience. A willingness to engage in wider school projects and contribute to the extracurricular life of the school is essential.
Shuttleworth College is a rapidly improving 11-16 College in Burnley located within easy reach of the M65 and is easily accessible from many parts of Lancashire and Manchester.
