About this Role

We are seeking a talented and inspiring Science Teacher with excellent subject knowledge to join our friendly and successful department and take on the responsibility of Key Stage Lead. The post holder should be passionate and engaging to inspire the next generation of students that have a love of science.

The successful candidate will be responsible for demonstrating high quality teaching to ensure students can make accelerated progress and use effective resources to deliver highest standards of learning and achievement for all students.

Applications are welcomed from teachers with varied experience, including ECT teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and inspire Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to support student learning
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents/carers
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the department curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher status or equivalent
  • A degree or professional qualification in a related subject
  • Experience of teaching secondary level
  • The ability to motivate and engage students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
