Teacher of Science (Opportunities for Leadership)
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Teacher of Science to join our dedicated and innovative department in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued success and development of our thriving Science curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for leadership opportunities
- Plan and deliver well-structured, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge our students
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of our pupils
- Make effective use of assessment to monitor progress and inform future planning
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement and evolution of our Science department
- Uphold the aims and ethos of the college, serving as a professional role model
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Demonstrable experience teaching Science at the secondary level
- A strong understanding of the Science curriculum and examination requirements
- Expertise in planning and delivering lessons that cater to the strengths and needs of all students

- Passionate about Science and committed to sharing your enthusiasm with our students
- Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to teach all specialisms within Science
- Skilled in using a variety of teaching strategies to promote learning and engagement
