We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, motivated and dedicated teacher of social science to join our Social Sciences team. The ideal candidate will have superb subject knowledge in their specialist area and a passion for teaching.

Experience or knowledge of teaching Sociology to A Level, and experience of Criminology at KS5 would be desirable but not essential.

We’re looking for a colleague who has a passion for their subject and the ability to infuse this in their students; who is committed to raising achievement and raising aspirations. You will have the ability to make a measurable impact and will motivate and inspire students to reach the full potential. You will also benefit from a highly supportive social sciences team and excellently resourced faculty.

Wollaston School is a large, rural community school located in a village setting about 15 minutes drive from Northampton. The student intake draws on nearby villages and the towns of Earls Barton, Wellingborough, and Irchester. We have over 1400 students on roll with approximately 240 students in the Sixth Form.
