The Social Science department contains a wealth of subject specialists and is a strong, respected and supportive department. The Social Science department is a growing department and contains a real variety of subjects which are popular throughout our students’ education (Religious Studies, PSHE, Psychology, Sociology, Health and Social Care, Criminology and Citizenship) and Psychology is offered both at GCSE and A Level with enthusiastic uptake (AQA). Sociology is another popular subject offered at KS5 (AQA) and Health and Social Care is offered both at GCSE and A Level and is a popular option.
We are looking for a ‘Teacher of Social Science’ who is able to teach Psychology/Sociology/Health and Social Care (we are in the fortunate position to adapt the post dependent on skills and experience offered) and feed into the wider character of our department.
