What skills and experience we're looking for

Eckington School is seeking an outstanding teacher of Social Sciences with a specialism in Psychology. The Social Sciences faculty delivers psychology, sociology, health & social care and criminology. This role would suit an ECT or established teacher.

The successful candidate will teach psychology with some sociology and health and social care.

Thank you for expressing an interest in the position of Teacher of Social Science with Psychology specialism. Eckington School is an 11-18 comprehensive secondary school in Derbyshire with circa 1260 students on role.

This is an exciting and unique time at Eckington School. On 1st April 2023, Eckington School joined Chorus Academy Trust and on 17th April 2023, it welcomed a new Headteacher. In September 2023, the school also welcomed two new Deputy Headteachers and three new Assistant Headteachers.
