Teacher of Social Sciences job summary
The Ripley Academy is an 11-18 school located in Derbyshire close to Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield and within easy reach of the Peak District. We are a member of the East Midlands Education Trust and work in close partnership with the other academies within the Trust including The West Bridgford School and John Flamsteed Community School.
We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Social Sciences (Psychology and Health & Social Care) to teach across the full range of abilities to A Level.
We welcome applications from teachers who feel they have the ability, enthusiasm and commitment to enhance the lives of students at our Academy; someone who has a true passion for Social Sciences as well as the drive and determination to make a significant, positive impact on our students ensuring all achieve their full potential. This post will be particularly suitable for NQTs as support is available within the department.
