Main Responsibilities
You will teach across the key stages alongside colleagues of the highest calibre in the delivery of Sociology and Philosophy, Religion and Ethics (PRE). Sociology is taught to both our Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 students. With PRE, we are seeking a colleague willing to inspire and motivate our younger, Key Stage 3 students in this subject area, helping to grow the subject into Key Stage 4. You will potentially teach Sociology across both key stages, depending on your expertise and experience.
The Ideal Candidate
Required from September 2023 a highly motivated member of staff with specialist subject knowledge and interest in teaching Sociology and Philosophy, Religion and Ethics. You will have, or be developing, outstanding teaching practice in addition to having a commitment to collaboration and teamwork. You will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills and be innovative and enthusiastic.
