Outcomes at the Academy at Key Stage 4 are in the top 8% of all schools nationally with a Progress 8 Score of +0.71. We are looking to recruit an inspirational Teacher of Sociology and Health and Social Care for a full-time post in a thriving department, to commence in the Spring Term 2025. The candidate will benefit from a well-resourced shared area. Outcomes within the department are in the top 20% of all schools in the country for Progress 8. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn from an experienced Head of Department and other specialist teachers within the team. St Mark’s Church of England Academy is a 11-18 Academy based in the South London borough of Merton. The Academy is rapidly improving as demonstrated by its rapid increase in GCSE headline figures.
