Heworth Grange School, part of the Consilium Academies Trust, is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Spanish to join our vibrant MFL department. This is a fixed-term role to cover maternity leave.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled classroom practitioner who can:

• Deliver high-quality Spanish lessons at KS3 and KS4
• Inspire and motivate students to love languages and embrace global cultures
• Use data to track progress and adapt teaching to ensure all students thrive
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement
• Be a team player who believes in "No Islands" - our culture of support and collaboration

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from ECTs and experienced teachers who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant subject
• Are passionate about languages and committed to pupil progress
• Have excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management skills
• Value inclusion, diversity, and the role education plays in changing lives
