The Spanish department is a high performing department led by an outstanding Head of Spanish Paul Jones. Results are amongst the highest in the region for progress 8.

Due to retirement of the current Head of Department the Academy is currently recruiting into Head of Department and a teacher of Spanish. Who We Are Looking For

We want an inspirational individual, either currently training or an experienced practitioner looking for a fresh challenge and the opportunity to progress into leadership when the time is right. The successful candidate will demonstrate: Part time will be considered.

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for rising standards in Spanish
  • The ability to lead, engage and motivate students using research to inform classroom practice
  • High expectations for academic achievement and student outcomes
  • Passion, expertise and the desire to improve gateway qualifications for students who are keen to achieve their personal best

The department are raising standards and are a growing close-knit team with a commitment to high standards at KS3 and 4.
