Job description

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and committed teacher of Spanish to join our dynamic and forward-thinking Modern Languages Faculty. MFL was one of the top performing subjects at GCSE in 2019 with a significantly positive SPI score, and we are looking for someone who can maintain and build upon this success. We are looking for someone who can teach Spanish to KS5 and German or French to at least KS3. The successful candidate will be a well-qualified graduate with a love of their subject and with the ability to work effectively both in a team and independently. We are looking to appoint a colleague who will maximise the best outcomes for our students, who has high expectations and who can inspire Nobelians.

Essential skills and experience

Expertise in the teaching of MFL up to Post 16, including evidence of excellence in own work as practitioner
Be able to teach Spanish to KS5 and German or French to at least Key Stage 3
Willingness and ability to independently engage in necessary administration and supervision
Excellent knowledge and understanding of current issues in MFL
Good oral and written communication skills
Good IT skills
