Teacher of Special Educational Needs job summary

We require someone to teach within our specialist pathway for pupils who need additional support to access secondary learning. The role requires delivery at KS4 and KS3. All subject specialisms are encouraged to apply, however, an ability to plan and deliver lessons in core literacy and numeracy is necessary. Currently, pupils within this core pathway undertake a mixture of Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2 courses, with subject specialists delivering lessons in KS4 science and English. The curriculum is reviewed annually for pupils depending on their needs and skills and so the ability to be flexible and responsive to pupil needs is a vital aspect of the role.
