Teacher of T Level Education and Early Years job summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Education and Early Years to join our Key Stage 5 provision. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced primary practitioner to deliver the T Level in Education and Early Years within a supportive and high-performing sixth form. The role is ideal for someone passionate about inspiring the next generation of teachers and increasing the number of young people entering careers in education.

The successful candidate will:

Deliver engaging and purposeful teaching for the Education and Early Years T Level at Key Stage 5

Use substantial primary teaching experience to enrich learning and bring real-world context to the curriculum

Support students in making strong connections between theory and practice across education and early years settings

Assess and support students during their work placements in primary schools and/or early years environments

Monitor student progress and contribute to strategies that support strong outcomes

Work collaboratively with colleagues to refine and enhance curriculum delivery within a shared, supportive team

Support students in securing positive and ambitious post-18 destinations, including progression into higher education, apprenticeships and careers in teaching and education-related fields

The ideal candidate will:

Have substantial experience as a primary school teacher with strong classroom expertise

Hold knowledge of Education, Early Years or a related field, or be willing to develop this further

Be an effective classroom practitioner with a track record of positive student outcomes

Be passionate about inspiring young people and encouraging progression into the teaching profession

Be committed to delivering high-quality post-16 (Key Stage 5) education

Have a full, clean driving licence (essential for supporting placement visits)

Be enthusiastic, reflective and committed to ongoing professional development

Be keen to contribute to the continued success of a high-performing school and sixth form
