What skills and experience we're looking for

§ Graduate Teacher able to offer Technology at KS3, KS4 & KS5

§ Experience of assessment of student performance at Key Stages 3,4 and 5 in terms of National Curriculum Levels

§ Experience of working as part of a team

§ Knowledge of National Curriculum requirements and assessment in Technology and Art

§ Knowledge of current trends in the teaching of Technology

§ Excellent classroom teacher with a lively, interactive approach

§ Effective classroom manager

§ Excellent inter-personal skills

§ Excellent organisational skills

§ Excellent IT skills

§ Ability to teach Technology across the 11-18 age range to students of all abilities

§ A commitment to the place of Technology in the comprehensive school curriculum

§ Patience, determination and tact-with students, parents & colleagues

§ A commitment to equal opportunities

Finham Park is a popular and successful 11 -18 comprehensive school situated in the south-west of Coventry. It has an excellent reputation within the local community as well as nationally and internationally with our staff are both dedicated and highly qualified. The school was accredited as a World Class School in 2015, 2018, 2020 and 2021.
