What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed teacher, who has the ability to teach a range of Technology subjects at Key Stage 3 & 4 and the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5. We would welcome applications from colleagues who can teach one or more of the following disciplines: Hospitality and Catering, Computer Science, Design Technology and Engineering.

We have a centralised curriculum, collaborating across departments and other schools to both share resources and to avoid duplication and unnecessary work at all levels. The centralised curriculum ensures that all students have an equity of experience and ensures that teachers are not burdened by daily planning; instead they can focus on adaptive teaching and meeting the needs of all learners, alongside reducing workload.

Our school is a well-established secondary school and sixth form, which caters for up to 1,200 pupils and has been oversubscribed for the past 7 years.
We are on a journey of school improvement with a relentless focus on high expectations with an aim to improve outcomes for all our students. This was reflected in our 2019 Year 11 results where we saw an overall increase in students’ progress - a reflection of the dedication of our staff for continued school improvement.
