The Role
We are seeking a passionate and committed Teacher of Technology (Food Technology / Hospitality & Catering) to join our dedicated team.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning, inspiring students to develop practical skills, creativity, and a strong understanding of the hospitality and food industry.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking department within a supportive and ambitious school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Food Technology / Hospitality & Catering across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare and assess learning to ensure excellent student progress
- Use effective teaching strategies to inspire and motivate learners
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and participation
- Contribute to curriculum development within the Technology department
- Track, monitor, and support student progress using assessment data
- Create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to raise standards across the school
- Support the wider life of the school, including enrichment and extracurricular activities

- A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant degree
- Passionate about Food Technology / Hospitality & Catering
- Able to inspire, challenge, and engage students of all abilities
