What skills and experience we're looking for

Samuel Ward Academy is looking to appoint a dynamic Design Technology & Engineering teacher to lead the Design Technology Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring leader with the ambition and vision to grow a strong department. Experience of teaching engineering would be desirable, but a passion for developing engineering and a willingness to learn are essential. We are looking for a teacher of the highest calibre who has an excellent understanding of the subject and the ability to motivate, challenge and inspire our students.

The successful candidate will be a highly skilled, innovative, creative and enthusiastic practitioner with a determination to achieve the highest outcomes. Already an excellent teacher, they will be ambitious to become an excellent leader as well.
