Teacher job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a specialist teacher who is an excellent classroom practitioner from either a mainstream or special school / provision background and who is passionate about teaching young people who have medical needs.

We are seeking a skilled primary-trained practitioner to teach pupils with SpLD and/or complex needs across the school. Most of these pupils are at the Oxford Children’s hospital site and the post will be based there with our team of specialist primary and secondary subject teachers. OHS staff are subject to redeployment across our settings according to pupil need.

Full support and setting specific training will be provided to the successful candidate. We are looking for the right person for our school; if you feel that there are some aspects of the job description and person specification that you don’t currently meet but you are willing to learn please still submit your application.

We would encourage and warmly welcome enquiries. Please contact Laura Campbell, School Business Manager on laura.campbell@ohs.oxon.sch.uk or tel 01865 957480 should you require any further information.

The post is 0.6 FTE, currently Wednesday, Thursday & Friday but days are negotiable.
