This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent classroom practitioner who is passionate about pupils’ wellbeing, personal development and physical education. This is a rare opportunity to lead PSHE and PE in our two-form primary school where you will be working with a partner teacher in the opposite class.

Templenewsam Halton Primary School is a vibrant community primary school located in the heart of Leeds. Founded in 1842 as the village school, it has proudly remained at the centre of local life, continuing to play a vital role in shaping generations of young learners. We currently welcome children aged 3 to 11, with around 500 pupils currently on roll.

About You
To be a good fit for this role, you will have the ability to:
- Teach high-quality lessons that inspire, motivate and challenge pupil
- Lead the strategic development of PSHE and PE across the school
- Promote healthy lifestyles, positive mental health and personal development
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of PSHE and PE provision, using data and feedback to drive improvement
- Work closely with senior leaders to contribute to whole-school priorities
