Sharnford is a small village school of three classes, we strive to ensure that the children who come to us are given every opportunity to develop socially and emotionally as well as academically. We pride ourselves on being a school with a very strong family feel, where staff and children know each other extremely well, treat each other with respect and most of all, feel included, valued and safe. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic , committed Teacher to work alongside our dedicated staff team.

We are very much part of the community of Sharnford and develop good links with the village by regular visits to St Helen's church as well as by participating and contributing to local events. Being part of a multi-academy trust ensures we can offer not only a broad, varied and rich curriculum but also a wide range of many valuable learning experiences too.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher to join our highly committed team to work in EYYFS/ KS1. The successful applicant will ideally be:

  • Experienced in a similar role

  • Highly organised and able to set clear priorities in managing their workload

  • Able to communicate clearly and positively with staff, parents and pupils, both in person and in written communications

  • Able to work calmly under pressure

  • Able to show a 'can-do' attitude and seek solutions to problems

  • Happy, co-operative and able to work on own initiative

  • A strong team player

  • A person who demonstrates excellent initiative
