Thorntree Academy is an average sized academy in
Middlesbrough. We place great pride in our curriculum
and development of pastoral care for children. We focus on
real trauma informed approaches with training in attachment
theory, adverse childhood experiences and restorative practice
leading to notable improvement in behaviour and attitudes,
particularly in lessons, across school.
