The Duchy School is a popular and successful primary school which is seeking to appoint an outstanding, dynamic and inspiring key stage 2 class teacher who has a desire to make a difference. We are a welcoming and motivational school that nurtures and supports pupils to learn transferable skills for life-long learning.
You will:
Be able to create a warm, welcoming and stimulating environment where our children are inspired, highly motivated and able to flourish
Stand out from the crowd because of your positive attitude, flexibility and drive;
Have a commitment to meeting the needs of all groups of learners and have a willingness to go the extra mile to make learning rigorous but fun;
Wish to teach a creative curriculum rooted in first hand experiences making the most of our grounds and location;
Be a reflective practitioner who has a commitment to working with colleagues to improve practice and outcomes for our children and demonstrate a willingness to join in with the life of the school and its community;
Be a good communicator, build effective relationships with our pupils and their families
Have excellent classroom management skills;
Be able to offer leadership in developing an area across the school

This is a part-time, permanent position working 0.44 FTE, 39 weeks per year.
