Teacher with English/phonics specialism for secondary school job summary

We are looking for a specialist teacher to work within our mainstream secondary school, primarily teaching English to students with SEND and delivering phonics and other interventions to students who need additional support. There is also the potential for a TLR to lead on areas of Literacy and phonics across the school for the right candidate.

Full or Part time considered.

About the role:

Knowledge of the primary English curriculum, particularly phonics, or a willingness to learn this, is essential

Delivering mostly English lessons to pupils with additional needs alongside other subjects (likely humanities)

Delivering phonics interventions or lessons to students with EAL and SEND

SEND specialists or literacy specialists may also be considered for the role (QTS is required)
