Athelstan Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced Year 6 Teacher. We are is rated as a good school in a wonderfully vibrant community where children and adults from many diverse cultures beliefs and backgrounds blend together to create Team Athelstan.
We are an incredible team who work very hard and who genuinely want to make the difference for all our pupils. We are looking for a teacher to become part of this team.

Team Athelstan Guarantee
Team Athelstan Guarantee’ incorporates the following things we offer to our staff;
- Teaching staff are allowed to take PPA time at home. Teachers receive more than the mandatory 10% PPA time.
- Termly Health & Safety staff meetings to discuss staff health and wellbeing.
- Our Wellbeing Group (made up of staff & governors) meet regularly.
- Staff worry box that allows staff to anonymously leave feedback for leaders.
- Secret Friend system operates; staff members buy or make little presents for someone at various points over the year. The recipient has no idea who is sending their gifts until the very end of the year.
- There is always a team-building aspect of the first INSET day of the school year.
