What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Year 6 Teacher to join our exceptional team. This person will inspire and educate our pupils, fostering a love for learning and supporting their academic and personal growth. We are seeking someone who will contribute to the overall success and development of our pupils, working collaboratively with colleagues and embracing United Learning’s values of ambition, determination, respect, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Learning

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that spark curiosity and a love for learning in all subjects.
  • Adapt teaching methods to support the diverse needs of all learners, ensuring an inclusive and equitable classroom environment.
  • Foster a love of learning and encourage curiosity through creative and interactive teaching strategies.
  • Inspire a life-long passion for learning by promoting an enthusiasm for various subjects.

Assessment and Reporting

  • Use a range of assessments to effectively track and support pupil progress.
  • Keep accurate records of student achievements and provide positive, constructive feedback to guide improvement.
  • Use assessment data to plan lessons that support every pupil in reaching their full potential.
