Rugby Free Primary School opened in September 2015 with Reception classes in a newly refurbished state of the art building in Central Park. We are now full in all year groups from Reception through to Year 6. We are a happy, supportive and forward-thinking school which serves its local community.
We are looking to extend our team of professionals who bring interest, ideas and enthusiasm to our school. We want to hear from candidates who have a passion for supporting children reach their full potential, academically and socially. We believe that all of our staff members support the whole child development and therefore those who have a particular interest in supporting children with social, emotional and mental health or other additional needs, would be an advantage.
We have two posts available. One is for a Teaching and Learning Assistant who has some experience supporting children in an educational setting and the other post is for someone with little or no experience who would like to train to be a Teaching Assistant through the Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship programme. This second post may be of interest to a school leaver, someone who would like to change career or someone who may want to be a teacher someday. We have had lots of TA apprentices at RFPS go on to become amazing Teaching Assistants, Teachers and Social Workers! Both roles will be fully supported by colleagues and professional development and training will be a priority.
We are a friendly, kind and proactive school and have the most wonderful group of children, parents and staff. Come and join us!
If you would like to discuss this role further or want to arrange a visit to our fantastic school, please contact the school office on 01788 222088 or office@rugbyfreeprimary.co.uk
Closing date for applications: Monday 30th September 2024
