Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking for a new opportunity in a passionate team where you can access fantastic facilities? January 2023 or earlier if possible.

About you:

As a Science Teacher you will be expected to engage and enthuse learners through a commitment to outstanding teaching and learning. As Teaching and Learning Lead, you will monitor, support and improve standards of teaching and learning across the faculty so that teaching is consistently at a high standard and student outcomes improve.

To succeed you must be innovative in your techniques to motivate and inspire young people; you will also be a great team player and first-class communicator. You will be passionate about empowering pupils, providing them with the skills they require to excel in the modern workplace and in society itself.

We want determined and enthusiastic Teachers, with high expectations of students in terms of behaviour and achievement, who can:

engage and enthuse our learners through a commitment to outstanding teaching and learning;
contribute to the further development of a strong and forward-looking team;

The City of Peterborough Academy was opened in September 2013 by Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT) after a £13.8m capital build. Based on Reeves Way in Peterborough, the academy has quickly grown from strength to strength. A dedicated team of staff aim to help support every child in reaching their full potential. Additionally, we have been described as a truly ‘inclusive school’ at our recent National Inclusion Quality Mark inspection and have also been awarded 'Centre of Excellence Status'. We were also ‘runners up’ at the 2020 National SEN awards for National Most Inclusive Practice.

Both our Academy and Greenwood Academies Trust are committed to supporting pupils and staff alike.
