We are looking for a Teaching and Learning Leader of Humanities (ideally a Geography Specialist) to join our team here at Nottingham Academy!
About the role:
We are looking for a Teaching and Learning Leader of Humanities, who is passionate about their subject and the delivery of an effective curriculum to pupils of all ages and abilities. We expect that, through leading your effective teaching and learning, all pupils will be inspired to achieve the outstanding progress that we know they are capable of.
About You:
We are looking for someone who:
- is a ideally a Geography Specialist (although not essential)
- is passionate about Humanities and about helping all pupils succeed despite their background
- will take overall responsibility for the standard of teaching and learning within Humanities
- will raise attainment
- has high professional standards
- implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and diferentiated curriculum area as appropriate
- is able to make positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents alike
- is able to plan and deliver innovative and inspirational lessons that engage pupil
