What skills and experience we're looking for

The governors are looking to appoint two nursery assistants.

Role 1 - (Hatchlings) Two to Threeyear old, term-time provision

Role 2 - (The Nest) Under Twos, all year round provision.

Experience of working with early years children is essential and preferably a level 3 early years qualification, although applications from level 2 qualified practitioners will also be considered, as will level 3 apprentices for role 1.

We are looking for a member of staff who works well as part of a team and is clear about how to support and develop children’s wellbeing and progress under the guidance of the managers. The candidate will have the ability to form positive relationships with young children quickly.

Safeguarding is a very important aspect of Ham Drive Nursery School & Day Care. All applicants will be expected to have a full DBS check and disclose any issues which may be relevant to them working in a nursery.
