What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for two innovative and inspirational Teaching Assistants who puts the welfare and progress of children at the centre of everything they do and are able to support our students in reaching their full potential.
What will you do?
- To work under the guidance of the class teacher in the planning and implementation of work programmes with individuals or groups of pupils or the whole class to promote effective teaching and learning.
- During the short-term absence of the class teacher a Level 3 teaching assistant may be required to supervise the whole class and deliver pre-prepared activities.
- To provide general support to the class teacher in the management and organisation of the pupil and the classroom
- To assist the teacher in creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment.
- To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school

Krishna Avanti Primary School, Croydon is a new school which opened in September 2016 and is the 5th addition to the successful Avanti Schools Trust.
Alongside our high quality provision of Early Years education, we offer practical 21st century spirituality, values-led lessons and yoga to encourage reflection; provisions that have led to outstanding behaviour and excellent attainment in our existing schools.
