What skills and experience we're looking for
We currently have a vacancy for an exceptional Learning Support Assistant to join our team in our lovely school in Billingshurst. As a fully inclusive school, we have children gaining EHCPs, and new children starting school with EHCPs, who will need high levels of support from new members to our team.
We are a large 3-form entry primary school situated in the growing village of Billingshurst. We are a school that has high ambitions for the children, and for ourselves, and we are looking for dedicated, qualified and caring Learning Support Assistants. All our teaching assistants support children with individual needs and lead interventions.

You will:
Have experience working with children within this age range, preferably within a school setting
Love working with children
A relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification, or equivalent or willingness to undertake training through apprenticeship
Have high aspirations for the children’s success and for yours
Be able to support the teacher in ensuring that all our children do exceptionally well and are happy
Be good at working in a close-knit team
Have a ‘can do’ attitude
