Are you looking for your next challenge?

Are you inspired, engaged and passionate about Early Childhood, Key Stage One or Special Educational Needs Education? Then join us at Someries Infant School and Early Childhood Education Centre, where we believe anything is possible!

The Governing Board of Someries Infant School and Early Childhood Education Centre seeks to appoint excellent Teaching Assistants to support teaching and learning across our school.

We seek applications from successful, experienced and reflective practitioners with experience working with pupils across Early Childhood Education, Key Stage One Education and/or SEND Education. Building a positive learning relationship with children with special educational needs is essential for all of these roles.

Candidates will be confident and passionate teaching assistants who demonstrate high expectations, a flexible and resilient attitude to challenge and a commitment to providing the highest-quality learning opportunities that support the whole child's education.

Someries Infant School and Early Childhood Education is a place that promotes a genuine love of learning. We want children to be excited about coming to school, engaged purposefully in their learning and able to articulate their views politely, respectfully and positively. We expect learning opportunities to be playful and irresistible and work closely as colleagues to continue developing and enhancing what is unique about what we do and how we do it. Our school vision is built on the principle that anything is possible.

We are a values-based school, and the successful candidate will have the interpersonal skills to model our school’s core values within a framework in which everyone is ambitious, innovative and inclusive.

This means our working relationships can be relatively relaxed and informal. People love working here; we are warm, welcoming, positive, supportive and forward-looking. We have very high expectations of both children and adults.
