What skills and experience we're looking for
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and approachable Teaching Assistant to support one pupil on a daily basis, working closely under the guidance of our teaching staff.

This will initially be a fixed term contract running until 31st August 2026.

The successful candidate must:
- Be able to implement planned learning activities/teaching programmes as agreed with the teacher, adjusting activities according to pupils’ responses as appropriate.
- Have successful experience working with children in a school/early years environment.
- Establish positive relationships with pupil supported.
- Promote the inclusion and acceptance of children with special needs within the classroom ensuring access to lessons and their content through appropriate clarification, explanation and resources
- Display a professional attitude
- Remain calm under pressure
- Communicate well with parents, carers and members of staff, as well as pupils
- Be committed to supporting the values and ethos of our Church school.
