Teaching Assistant SEND job summary
We seek to appoint a committed and enthusiastic SEND teaching assistant to join our school to help and support children with special educational needs.
Our ideal candidate is capable and reliable, with sound literacy and numeracy skills to support the learning needs of individuals and groups of children. Depending on the child's needs, there may be times when you need to deal with a child's personal hygiene.
You will be our ideal candidate if you are patient, resilient and organised with a passion for helping children succeed. We offer a well-resourced school with supportive and friendly colleagues and governors.
This role will also include lunchtime supervision, which may be indoors or outside.
This role is 31.25 hours per week, term time + 5 inset days, for the successful candidates with a 30-minute lunch break. Immediate start.
Additional information
Applicants for this public-facing post will need to demonstrate the ability to converse fluently in spoken English and provide effective help or advice.
