Teaching Assistant job summary

Teaching Assistant - Term time, 32.5 hours / week

We are looking for a professional, caring and motivated individual to join our team from September 2025, providing a fostering and positive approach to teaching.

You must have Maths and English at G.C.S.E. grade A-C (or above grade 4). Previous experience of working with SEND children in an inclusive classroom or an exceptional understanding of teaching support in SEND provision is essential. You will need to be confident and resilient in working one to one with students and small groups under teacher guidance. The role will be primarily class based; however, experience of running interventions is also desirable.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a calm, positive approach, enthusiasm, energy and plenty of patience and be ready to support students with disabilities and communication needs. We can offer a supportive team, a progressive approach towards professional development and a positive, problem-solving working environment.
