Teaching Assistant job summary

We are looking for a highly dedicated and inspirational Teaching Assistant to join our committed team. This position is temporary [maternity cover] and is for 10 hours per week working Thursdays and Fridays, term time only . Having been rated OFSTED outstanding in July 2022, Buckland is a thriving village school which offers an incredible range of stimulating, quality experiences. We are proud to be part of the Cambrian Learning Trust, an eighteen school multi-academy trust,. Our pupils are individual, well-motivated, talented and spirited. They make very good progress, attain highly and deserve the best.

Applicants should be able to work well in a team and be flexible, have a positive outlook and high expectations of all children. They must have a good standard of numeracy and literacy (GCSE grade A-C or equivalent). Experience working with children in an EYFS setting would be advantageous.
