About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils across the curriculum, helping to shape their educational journey.
  • Work with individuals and small groups under the guidance of teaching staff.
  • Assist in creating a purposeful and inclusive learning environment.
  • Promote positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
  • Provide feedback on pupil progress to teachers.
  • Support classroom organisation, displays, and basic administrative tasks.
  • Help deliver structured learning activities and interventions, including English and maths.
  • Use ICT to support learning and encourage pupil independence.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

  • Has a good standard of general education (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
  • Has experience working with children in a primary school setting.
  • Understands the National Curriculum and how to support learning.
  • Is confident, enthusiastic, and motivated with a passion for education.
  • Has strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Is willing to undertake First Aid training if not already qualified.
