Catchgate Primary School is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with a passion for Early Years and experience supporting pupils with SEND. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming and forward-thinking school during an exciting period of development.
Our new Executive Headteacher, Jo Woodhall, will lead both Catchgate and our partner school, Castleside Primary. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to plan and deliver high-quality learning, including personalised support for children with a range of additional needs. A strong understanding of Early Years development and a calm, positive approach are essential.
You will support learning for individuals, groups, and occasionally whole classes, contribute to assessments and support plans, and play a vital role in promoting pupils’ emotional well-being and inclusion. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a team, values positive relationships with pupils and families, and is committed to helping every child succeed.

Please note that we operate a probationary period of 6 months across all jobs in the Trust (see attached policy for further details). You will receive a comprehensive induction to support you to successfully pass your probation.
