Teaching Assistant 2 & Midday Supervisor job summary
The main responsibility of the post will be to support teachers in the delivery of the curriculum, both by directly working with pupils and assisting in preparation of resources. We are looking for applicants who are innovative, enthusiastic and flexible, as well as having a keen interest and knowledge of child development and an understanding of child protection procedures. Applicants should also be able to demonstrate a sensitive and empathic approach to working with young pupils.
The working pattern is Monday – Friday, from at least 8.30am –3.15pm (working hours to be discussed at interview and agreed on succesful appointment) and term time only. We are a friendly and supportive team, with additional benefits, such as free daily lunch.
If successful, you will become part of a very committed and hardworking team. While some experience of working with vulnerable young people is preferable it is not essential. We will provide you with high quality training and support.
