Teaching Assistant - 25 hours job summary

Fixed term contract for a full 2026 - 2027 academic year.

We are seeking to appoint a skilled Teaching Assistant to join our very supportive, hardworking and enthusiastic team at Woodlands Park Primary. To work across the school with possible 1:1 elements during the day.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is self-motivated, flexible, resilient and a team player.
  • can use their initiative in the setting and adapt provision to meet the needs of the children.
  • is an effective communicator.
  • is dynamic, resilient and hard working with a positive nature.
  • has experience of delivering interventions for children and can create and maintain a purposeful learning environment.
  • has high expectations and understanding of behaviour of all pupils.

Applicants must have Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths GCSE and a NVQ 2 or 3, or equivalent TA qualification.
