Teaching Assistant job summary

Waterbeach Community Primary School are looking to appoint three part time, term time, Teaching Assistant posts as detailed below.

Post 1 and Post 2 may be carried out by the same applicant. Please state which posts you are applying for in your application.

Post 1 ~ 08:30 - 12:30 ~ 20 hours per week ~ initially to work with a pupil in EYFS but may be required to work in other year groups throughout the school

Post 2 ~ 13:00 - 15:15 ~ 11.25 hours per week ~ initially to work with a pupil in Year 4 but may be required to work in other year groups throughout the school

Post 3 ~ 12:15 - 15:15 ~ 15 hours per week ~ initially to work with a pupil in Year 4 but may be required to work in other year groups throughout the school

We are looking for someone who:

• Is caring patient and enthusiastic, with good communication skills and has high expectations
• Has a therapeutic approach to supporting pupil’s behaviour and learning
• Is able to support individual pupils 1:1
  
• Is able to lead interventions with individuals and groups of pupils
• Is proactive, highly motivated and a good team player

Salary details:

Teaching Assistant - Level 2, Scale point 5, starting at £15.10 per hour

This is a term time only role
