The Role
- Work alongside teachers and support staff to raise the learning and attainment of students.
- Provide targeted support for students with SEND, reducing barriers to learning.
- Encourage independence, self-esteem, and inclusion for all students.
- Lead small group interventions and offer mentoring support.
- Use your specialist knowledge (e.g. SEND, SEMH, literacy or numeracy) to make a meaningful impact.
What we are looking for:
- At least 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
- Experience of working with children aged 11-16, ideally with SEND or behavioural needs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A flexible, resilient and collaborative approach.
- Commitment to safeguarding, equality and high expectations for all students.
