Teaching Assistant job summary

Floreat Montague Park School currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join us on a part-time, fixed term contract.  They will join a very hard working and dedicated team of teachers and support staff, who focus on improving outcomes for the pupils in their care.  This role is to provide support on a one to one basis for a child during their afternoon sessions until the end of the academic year.

Your opportunity

You’ll be responsible for assisting with planning, preparation and delivery of lesson provision, on an individual basis, preparing resources to support learning activities as well as ensuring pupils are supported pastorally. You’ll contribute to evaluating student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher to ensure the students’ learning needs are being met.

As a Teaching Assistant within Floreat Montague Primary School, you’ll be able to build upon your existing skillset within a supportive environment, with professional development, training, and career progression opportunities available.

The Details

Start Date: ASAP

Contract type: Fixed term until July 25

Term-time (Plus INSET): 39 Weeks

Salary: Associate 2.1 (£22,918 FTE) actual salary: £9,584

Hours of work:  Part-time (12.00 noon - 3:30 pm ) Monday to Friday, 17.5 hrs a week

Closing Date: 24th September 2025

Interview date: 26th September 2025
