Contract: Permanent, 32.5 hours per week (08:30-15:30 Monday-Friday), Term time plus 1 week (39 weeks).

Job Overview

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and supportive team here at Wellington Eagles Primary Academy.

You will play an extremely important role supporting both staff and students on their educational journey.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely alongside class teachers to deliver engaging lessons and support our pupils. The successful applicant, you will:

  • Have great communication skills along with IT and administrative knowledge.
  • Be willing to take part in ongoing training and update skills including completing a Vocational Qualification.
  • Demonstrate discretion to make minor decisions, under the direction of the line manager.
  • Show emotional resilience, working with children and supporting behaviour management.
