Teaching Assistant job summary

Teaching Assistant - Fixed term 26/01/2026 to 31/08/2026.

32.5 hours / week, term time only.

You must have experience of working in a school for at least two years and have Maths and English at G.C.S.E. level. You will need to be confident and resilient in working one to one with students and small groups under teacher guidance. The role will be primarily class based; however, experience of running interventions is also desirable.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a calm, positive approach, enthusiasm, energy and plenty of patience and be ready to support students with disabilities and communication needs. We can offer a supportive team, a progressive approach towards professional development and a positive, problem-solving working environment.
